Ask Questions and close the sale You are able to ask the seller questions and get shipping quotes. We have a growing network of over 200 Vendors listing ovens with us from all over the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Italy to name but a few. We try to answer all of your questions in a timely manner and make you comfortable with your purchase by offering warranties and by backing warranties supplied by the Vendor/s. Your item/s is picked up by a common
carrier; we use ABF and Yellow Freight for most of the shipments but other
carriers are used from time to time depending on the origin and the
destination of the shipment.
Although very uncommon, damages do happen;
please see the notes below on the optional Freight Insurance. Inside Delivery - Inside delivery options is available for most items. Please contact your sales representative for more details. Additional fees apply. Freight Insurance - Although damages seldom happen, once your item is placed on the truck it is no longer the responsibility of Pizzaovens.com as we have no control over its handling. Without freight insurance your claims are limited to the maximums set by each individual carrier. Should damage occur during shipment/delivery, a claim must be submitted to the Freight Carrier. We would be happy to assist you in filling your claim; the ultimate settlement and decision however lays with the Freight Carrier. We urge you to consider insurance for all your purchases. If your oven/s is damaged on arrival NOTE ALL THE DAMAGE ON THE BOL BEFORE SIGNING. Obtain a copy of the driver’s signature noting the damages. Finally take as many pictures as you can of the damage. This is one of the most important steps you can take in obtaining a quick & fair settlement. Freight Companies liability is limited to: Full value of a piece of equipment in case of non-delivery, or if the piece of equipment is severely damaged and considered a total loss. Minor or reparable damages are settled according to the information provided by the customer and the supplier. Another important note about freight. Please inspect your item prior to receiving and signing for it.
